Today, we travelled to Birmingham. as we always do in the Easter holidays. We started out in the morning, and arrived mid afternoon. Having arrived, we talked for a while, and had some food. We then watched some TV, and realxed...
What more can I say? We did that! I know it's boring, but I wanted to write it down so i would remember!

Liverpool!
Today, we went on our trip to Liverpool, visiting the slavery museum. We started out from school at quarter past nine. We then had around a three hour journey to travel. I pigged out on sweets, but I shouldn't have as I felt queasy afterwards. We had to eat our dinner on the bus, having just arrived there! I couldn't eat hardly anything. We then walked to the museu, laughing as nobody could understand us, with us talking Welsh! We had our little presentation, but having just travelled for so long, I was struggling to keep my eyes open! Afterwards, we had an hour to roam around the rest of the museum, when all we did was go to the same place several times! We then bought some sweets, and were on our way to the shopping centre. We went to Broughton, we went went to a retail park. We first had some food in McDonalds, and then went straight for River Island. I bought a lovely top in there, which was reduced to ten pounds! Bargain! We then went round several of the shops, with me buying nail varnish, a bag, and a Kasabian CD. It was then time to travel home. We travelled once again for three hours, but arriving home slightly earlier than expected as we started out early. I then fell asleep...on the floor...within twenty minutes of getting into the house. I then fell asleep in bed, and was out all night.

Karate.
In my karate lesson, I got to wear my new belt-GREEN! My instructor told me this story:
Having finished with our grading, and we were going up to get our certificates, a guy came over to him. It was the photographer. He asked whether the yellow belted girl on the end was one of his students (a.k.a. me). He replied "Yes". The photographer said that I had done an excellent grading, and was really impressed!...Happy days!
The championships are coming up at the end of the month, so we had to get practising for that. I had to learn my new Kumite, which involves kicks, and practise my new Kata (although I don't have to perform that one). All in all, a fun lesson, which I enjoyed although my mate wasn't there!

Note!
From now on, I will only be doing blog updates when something interesting, and worth blogging about, happens in my day. So, I will no longer be talking about school, unless something amazing happens...which is unlikely!

Sunday 28th March, 2010!
Sponsored walk day!
I woke up early and got ready as quickly as possible. I was dropped off at my mates house for ten past ten, as she was to pick the others up and take us all there together. We set out at about twenty past, picking up my two other mates. we then travelled all the way to Caernarfon, where we were to start. We were all given balloons to carry, to show we were doing a sponsored walk, not just any old walk. We set off at a good old pace, and had reached our first stop (over halfway through) in about an hour. Record time! We had a half hour break there, eating crisps and drinking (water!). We then set off with two miles to go there and back. We reached the next stop in no time, pausing for an ice cream. We then set back, and were there very quickly. We had had a few problems along the way, as in her step-dad falling off his bike, and then blaming it on the dog who had done nothing wrong! And also, my mate falling out with her step-dad, and refusing to talk to hardly anyone. We had completed the whole thing in three hours, but with two half hour break in it. So, in reality, we had walked eight miles in two hours!
Having got home, I had a few homeworks too complete. They didn't take as long as I thought they would, so I had some spare time to myself, although short.

Saturday 27th March, 2010!
Today I had to wake up early, as I had my Karate grading. I woke up at half eight, and had my breakfast. I was a little nervous, but raring to go. At half nine, having gotten ready, we picked ip my friend. We arrived at Caernarfon Leisure Centre at ten past ten, twenty minutes before we had to practise. At half past ten, having already seen our other mates training themselves, and annoying them, we had our training. My freind and I got to stand together, and did a few things together. The training was hard, and I was tired after half an hour. It gets so hot in there, and the floor is slippy as everyone goes sweaty. After an hour, we finished, and had forty minutes to spare. We had a drink, and then we snacked on crisps, sweets and chocolate with one of our mates outside. At ten past twelve, we made our way in, and found a bench to sit on. We were mucking about, pocking it other. Then, the white belts started their grading. My friend was a red belt, and so didn't have that long until her grading. Sure enough, after twenty minutes or so, it was her go. She did well, and got everything right. I had a little wait till my grading, being a yellow belt. Oranges finished, and I waited for my turn. I wasn't in the first group, so got to watch them. They were doing a few things differently, so I was practising the moves while sitting down. Then, it came to the Kumite (fighting). I watched, and realised that the moves were in a different order to what I had learned. My instructor came over and told me what I was meant to do. I was furiously practising, and slightly panicking, hoping I would get it right. I wasn't in the second group either, so had extra time to practise. Then, came the third group. they were all grown men, and I was a little girl on the end. It started off well, with me being the quickest of them all, which I was happy about. Then came the dreaded Kumite. I was paired up with the man next to me, a taller and bigger man. I frantically went over the moves in my head, and got all the way through it perfectely, without even showing I had only just learnt it. Grading over, I went and sat down with my freinds.
We all moved up to a little room, and both me and my friend passed. So she is now an orange belt, and I am a green. I have no idea about my other mates, as they are higher grades, so they grade after us, and after we have gone up to receive our certificates.
We dropped my friend off on the way home, and I had some well deserved food. I went on Twitter not long later, and then watched some telly.

Friday 26th March, 2010!
...
We were waiting at the bus stop for our bus, but it was getting really late, and it still hadn't arrived. Some people decided to go home, as somehow, people believe that if the bus hasn't arrived ny 8:30, we are allowed to go home. If we do, we only end up getting a row! A big group of people went down the bottom, to stand on the corner outside the shops. My friend suddenly appeared, who gets on at a different stop. I asked her what she was doing. This was roughly her reply: "The bus has broken down!" I then asked "And?" "The teacher said there is no school and we can go home!" "Which teacher?" "A teacher from Ysgol Nefyn" "Yes, but she's not our teacher, how would she know?" "She said that because it's past 8:30, we can go home!" "But the bus is coming!" "But there's no school!" "Why would the bus be coming if there was no school?" "Because it's broken down!" I was by now, utterly confused! She then said "You're coming with me to my Nan's house, you're going to phone your Mum, and go home!" "No I'm not, I'm not leaving here. I don't want a row from the headmaster!" She now starts dragging me now. When we reach the bottom, I wait with everyone else outside the shop. She says she is going home, and leaves. Two minutes later, the bus turns up! Having got on the bus, I expected my other friend to be on. But she wasn't so I had to sit on my own!
First lesson-Sports. We had rugby. We ran around a bit, then got to play tag rugby. Not a bad lesson at all!
Second lesson-D+T. He had finally cut our phone holders out. So we expected to bend them today, but he didn't annoying.
Third lesson-French. We got to sing along to the French Specsaver's advert! Fun times!
Dinner time-I found out that my friend had come to school in the end. She had been forced ny her Mum...There was a netball tournament on. So, we got to leave French five minutes early. I wasn't actually playing, but I wanted to watch, so I went anyway. I sat and watched, and my house won! but I'm not really bothered, I'm not as competive with things like that as some people are!
Fourth lesson-English. I had brought the wrong book to the lesson today. Lucckily, she was in a good mood, and let me off! All we did was carry on with our notes.
Fifth lesson-IT. We wrote some stuff about the questionnaires we had filled in about a month ago.
Home time- I got to sit with my freind on the way home this time, not on my own! I had a very long chat with my other mate, although I will be seeing her tomorrow for the Karate grading. then found out that only four, including me, were doing the sponsored walk on Sunday. Oh well, it should be fun! I am now on Twitter, but will need a good sleep before tomorrow!
