Karate.
In my karate lesson, I got to wear my new belt-GREEN! My instructor told me this story:
Having finished with our grading, and we were going up to get our certificates, a guy came over to him. It was the photographer. He asked whether the yellow belted girl on the end was one of his students (a.k.a. me). He replied "Yes". The photographer said that I had done an excellent grading, and was really impressed!...Happy days!
The championships are coming up at the end of the month, so we had to get practising for that. I had to learn my new Kumite, which involves kicks, and practise my new Kata (although I don't have to perform that one). All in all, a fun lesson, which I enjoyed although my mate wasn't there!

Note!
From now on, I will only be doing blog updates when something interesting, and worth blogging about, happens in my day. So, I will no longer be talking about school, unless something amazing happens...which is unlikely!

Sunday 28th March, 2010!
Sponsored walk day!
I woke up early and got ready as quickly as possible. I was dropped off at my mates house for ten past ten, as she was to pick the others up and take us all there together. We set out at about twenty past, picking up my two other mates. we then travelled all the way to Caernarfon, where we were to start. We were all given balloons to carry, to show we were doing a sponsored walk, not just any old walk. We set off at a good old pace, and had reached our first stop (over halfway through) in about an hour. Record time! We had a half hour break there, eating crisps and drinking (water!). We then set off with two miles to go there and back. We reached the next stop in no time, pausing for an ice cream. We then set back, and were there very quickly. We had had a few problems along the way, as in her step-dad falling off his bike, and then blaming it on the dog who had done nothing wrong! And also, my mate falling out with her step-dad, and refusing to talk to hardly anyone. We had completed the whole thing in three hours, but with two half hour break in it. So, in reality, we had walked eight miles in two hours!
Having got home, I had a few homeworks too complete. They didn't take as long as I thought they would, so I had some spare time to myself, although short.

Saturday 27th March, 2010!
Today I had to wake up early, as I had my Karate grading. I woke up at half eight, and had my breakfast. I was a little nervous, but raring to go. At half nine, having gotten ready, we picked ip my friend. We arrived at Caernarfon Leisure Centre at ten past ten, twenty minutes before we had to practise. At half past ten, having already seen our other mates training themselves, and annoying them, we had our training. My freind and I got to stand together, and did a few things together. The training was hard, and I was tired after half an hour. It gets so hot in there, and the floor is slippy as everyone goes sweaty. After an hour, we finished, and had forty minutes to spare. We had a drink, and then we snacked on crisps, sweets and chocolate with one of our mates outside. At ten past twelve, we made our way in, and found a bench to sit on. We were mucking about, pocking it other. Then, the white belts started their grading. My friend was a red belt, and so didn't have that long until her grading. Sure enough, after twenty minutes or so, it was her go. She did well, and got everything right. I had a little wait till my grading, being a yellow belt. Oranges finished, and I waited for my turn. I wasn't in the first group, so got to watch them. They were doing a few things differently, so I was practising the moves while sitting down. Then, it came to the Kumite (fighting). I watched, and realised that the moves were in a different order to what I had learned. My instructor came over and told me what I was meant to do. I was furiously practising, and slightly panicking, hoping I would get it right. I wasn't in the second group either, so had extra time to practise. Then, came the third group. they were all grown men, and I was a little girl on the end. It started off well, with me being the quickest of them all, which I was happy about. Then came the dreaded Kumite. I was paired up with the man next to me, a taller and bigger man. I frantically went over the moves in my head, and got all the way through it perfectely, without even showing I had only just learnt it. Grading over, I went and sat down with my freinds.
We all moved up to a little room, and both me and my friend passed. So she is now an orange belt, and I am a green. I have no idea about my other mates, as they are higher grades, so they grade after us, and after we have gone up to receive our certificates.
We dropped my friend off on the way home, and I had some well deserved food. I went on Twitter not long later, and then watched some telly.

Friday 26th March, 2010!
...
We were waiting at the bus stop for our bus, but it was getting really late, and it still hadn't arrived. Some people decided to go home, as somehow, people believe that if the bus hasn't arrived ny 8:30, we are allowed to go home. If we do, we only end up getting a row! A big group of people went down the bottom, to stand on the corner outside the shops. My friend suddenly appeared, who gets on at a different stop. I asked her what she was doing. This was roughly her reply: "The bus has broken down!" I then asked "And?" "The teacher said there is no school and we can go home!" "Which teacher?" "A teacher from Ysgol Nefyn" "Yes, but she's not our teacher, how would she know?" "She said that because it's past 8:30, we can go home!" "But the bus is coming!" "But there's no school!" "Why would the bus be coming if there was no school?" "Because it's broken down!" I was by now, utterly confused! She then said "You're coming with me to my Nan's house, you're going to phone your Mum, and go home!" "No I'm not, I'm not leaving here. I don't want a row from the headmaster!" She now starts dragging me now. When we reach the bottom, I wait with everyone else outside the shop. She says she is going home, and leaves. Two minutes later, the bus turns up! Having got on the bus, I expected my other friend to be on. But she wasn't so I had to sit on my own!
First lesson-Sports. We had rugby. We ran around a bit, then got to play tag rugby. Not a bad lesson at all!
Second lesson-D+T. He had finally cut our phone holders out. So we expected to bend them today, but he didn't annoying.
Third lesson-French. We got to sing along to the French Specsaver's advert! Fun times!
Dinner time-I found out that my friend had come to school in the end. She had been forced ny her Mum...There was a netball tournament on. So, we got to leave French five minutes early. I wasn't actually playing, but I wanted to watch, so I went anyway. I sat and watched, and my house won! but I'm not really bothered, I'm not as competive with things like that as some people are!
Fourth lesson-English. I had brought the wrong book to the lesson today. Lucckily, she was in a good mood, and let me off! All we did was carry on with our notes.
Fifth lesson-IT. We wrote some stuff about the questionnaires we had filled in about a month ago.
Home time- I got to sit with my freind on the way home this time, not on my own! I had a very long chat with my other mate, although I will be seeing her tomorrow for the Karate grading. then found out that only four, including me, were doing the sponsored walk on Sunday. Oh well, it should be fun! I am now on Twitter, but will need a good sleep before tomorrow!

Thursday 25th March, 2010!
Hmm...
My friend was back in school today!
First lesoon-Maths. We had a maths test to start with. It was in two parts-first with a calculator, second without. Having completed the first part and handed it in, I realised I had made a mistake, but I couldn't change it by then. I then completed the second part in five minutes.
Second lesson-Welsh. We had to do some talking about the holocost and stuff like that. But it was pointless as she never chose us to speak!
Third lesson-Music. We started off the lesson by filling in half a page about a certain piece of music. Then, we had ten minutes to carry on with out pop music. Not much, and not enough to do anything really!
Dinner time-We walked around quite a lot really. We went here there and everywhere, searching for people. That was all.
Fourth lesson-Science. Carried on with our graphs.
Fifth lesson-R.E. In this lesson, we listened to a bit off the radio, then we had to write about it! Not much really!
Home time-Whilst we were on the bus, we heard some people screaming. We then learned that one boy had been sick. I immediately lifted my bag and feet off the floor, as it was travelling down the bus. My friend panicked, and did the same. It stank disgusting, and everybody was holding their nose. Some were spraying Lynx, but it only made it worse. Some were even going to look at the sick! We pleaded to the bus driver to stop, which he did further on. He had to sweep most of the sick away. One of our frinds had sick all over his bags. The boy had been sick in the bag of a boy in year seven. Everything-his books and pencil case were covered in it. We were all gagging on the way back, holding our noses. On the way off, we had to pass it. I refused to look, although I couldn't help myself. I looked but managed not to feel sick myself. I was glad to be off!
Having got home, I had karate. It was our last lesson before the grading on Saturday. Everything went well, and nothing to worry about. Then...Twitter time!

Wonder what happened?
My friend was still ill today!
First lesson-Science. Nothing happened in this lesson. We drew some graphs. That was it!
Second lesson-Maths. Same again, just maths!
Third lesson-D+T. We were hoping he would have cut our CD holder pieces out, but he hadn't. So, we had to make a questionnaire, give them to 10 people, then put the info into the computer. Quite a boring lesson without my bezzie mate!
Dinner time-We didn't really do much at this time. We had dinner, then my friend had music practise. So, I sat around...Well, at least that's what I think happened.
Fourth lesson-English. The teacher wasn't there! OMG! That's so rare. So we had another one, and we had to write points from a book we're reading. A bring but fun talking lesson!
Fifth lesson-Sports. We got to play some netball. It wasn't too bad, as we were mainly playing a game. It was fun, although we lost our game!
Home time-Me and my old friend got back together, which make me happy! I came on Twitter, and then fell asleep. My dad had to drag me off the sofa to get me to have my shower! I then watched some Mighty Boosh in bed!

Tuesday 23rd March, 2010!
School
First lesson-Art. The teacher wasn't there for the lesson, which waas lucky as my homework wasn't in my book for some reason. So, the sub allowed us to draw any landscape that we wanted from the box. I chose a simple one with a house in the middle. (It was a cartoony one, not a real one) I copied it pretty well, and coloured it with pastelles. I made it multicoloured to make it funky. I liked the final piece (well, I didn't finish it).
Second lesson-French. We started off by going to the computer room to play some French games. Then we had a test. I was pretty confident with it, until one word came up that I couldn't remember; l'epicerie. I racked my brains, but couldn't remember. I found out afterwards it was grocer's...so annoyed with my myself.
Third lesson-Welsh. We started off by reading. The we had to write some stuff down about the characters. By this time I had a headache, and had to copy what my friend was writing. She left 2 minutes before the bell as she had singing practise, so I was left alone, as my other friend wasn't there today.
Dinner time-I started out by going to print my History poster. The, I had planned on writing the paragraph to explain it. But, time was against me, as at one o'clock, I had to go in with Science. So, me and one of my mates met up in the Science room to continue with the experiment. We worked our socks off, but had problems with the car; it kept vearing off to the side when we wanted it to go straight. We managed to finish all but onw, but it shouldn't matter.
Fourth lesson-History. I was worried about this lesson, as I hadn't written the paragraph. But, she never even asked, and just said that every piece of work was to be finished by next week as she was taking our books in.
Fifth lesson-Maths. I persuaded my mate to sit next to me so that he could help me. He didn't really help, as it wasn't too hard. Only thing is I have a LOT of homework for next week!
Home time-On the bus back my friend and I finally made up, and are now friends again. This makes me happy to think, as not talking to her hurt me. I went to Karate, and everything was OK. Having come home, I had no homework for tomorrow. Only thing is, having phoned my friend up to find out whether she was going to Karate, and she said no, I asked if she was coming to school tomorrow. her answer was no, so I will have Maths on my own tomorrow, but I will be sat next to my old and faithfull friend. Twitter now, and hopefully some Mighty Boosh in a minute!

Monday 22nd March, 2010!
School! School! School!
First lesson-Textiles. We did hardly any work in this lesson. All I did was cut around a flower shape on some material. That was it!
Second lesson-Geography. I really couldn't be bothered with this lesson. Luckily, he took our books in, so I won't have any homework for next week.
Third lesson-English. We started out by stapeling our projects into our books. Then, we started reading Noughts and Crosses. Well, I say read. We re-read the same bit again...for the third time! Then, we stopped, and had to start spider charts about the characters! We will never finish this book before the exams, as all we have read is the Prologue three times!
Dinner time-I first had to print some work for D+T, as it was meant to be in on Friday, but I told him I'd have it by today. Then, we had dinner. Afterwards, we went and found DPJ (our D+T teacher) and gave my book in. Then, nothing happened.
Fourth lesson-Science. In this lesson, we were doing an experiment with cars travelling over distances and such. Annoyingly though, we had two people infront of us, so we had to wait for them to finish theirs. Then, we had problems, got it right, had prolems, and got it right. Then, as everyone else had finished, they all stood in our way, and kept moving all our things. Because of them and all the problems we had, we have to go in to finish the experiment at dinner time!
Fifth lesson-Welsh. In this lesson, we had to talk in groups about the Holocost and other such things. Then we got to carry on watching Schindler's List.
Home time-we first had to go to the garage because Dad's car is in for an MOT. Therefore, we had to catch the bus home. We were planning to run home, but my mother, being as annoying as she is, was panicing, and ordered my Dad to go on the bus! I have finished all homeworks apart from History, and am now on Twitter again!

Sunday 21st March, 2010!
Today was a slightly enjoyable, slightly annoying day. I woke up late...again! (Well, I won't get one next week!) I then remebered that I had Mrs Muse on Monday, so I needed my clothes for it. So, we had to go out to buy some, as I don't have any old clothes that I can recycle. We started by going to Porthmadog, but everywhere there was closed as it is a Sunday. So, we had to go all the way to Bangor. We first went to Matalan, where I got a top. Then, I got some blue jeans in New Look. My clothes sorted. We had planned to get some food in the Debenhams cafe, but there wasn't anything there. So, on the way back, we ended up going to the Bryncynan for a meal. Having finished there, (slightly later than I expected) I had some homework to do. That took me a while, as I had to measure out all the things I needed for my textiles lesson. After that, I got to relax, and had nothing to do. I have finished my Geography homework now, (I couldn't be bothered to do it earlier) and am now about to watch some DVD's. I am currently on Twitter, having some fun!

Saturday 20th March, 2010!
Today is as always an enjoyable day, as it's a weekend, and so I have no homework to do! I woke up at twelve o'clock. Then, I had some dinner (not breakfast). Did nothing till four o'clock, then had to get ready as we went to see Alice In Wonderland in Llandudno. Not a bad film! Johnny Depp was the best actor in it (well it would be with him in it!). I won't say what happens incase someone hasn't seen it, but it's worth watching. Not the best film this year, and the 3D element wasn't exactly exceptional. (I've seen many 3D films, so I know what makes a good 3D film!)
Came home, and went straight on my laptop. So I was on Twitter!

Friday 19th March, 2010!
Hehe, school. (You'd never guess!)
First lesson-Sports. I was planning to have sports, but I hurt my thumb and knee the night before. (My knee in Karate, and my thumb by wacking a chair). So, I didn't have sports, just watched.
Second lesson-D+T. This lesson I did nothing apart from print two pages. I was meant to be doing some work, but we all just chatted, and did nothing!
Third lesson-French. This lesson was quite fun. We got to move about a bit, looking on posters and using maths.
Dinner time-Nothing much happened. It was so dull, I can't remember anything that happened!
Fourth lesson-English. What a boring lesson... as usual!
Fifth lesson-I.T. i hadn't been there the last time, so was a little worried I would get a row for not catching up with the work. But, he didn't mind, and I just have to finish it by next week! Wow!
Had a row with one of my 'mates' on the bus, so I am now not going to be friends with her. She needs to apologise, but I doubt she will as she's stubborn!
Home time-I watched Sport Relief until about 11:30...then fell asleep. I was also on Twitter at the same time!

Had a row with one of my 'mates' on the bus, so I am now not going to be friends with her. She needs to apologise, but I doubt she will as she's stubborn!
Home time-I watched Sport Relief until about 11:30...then fell asleep. I was also on Twitter at the same time!
Thursday 18th March, 2010!
School...
Found out I was going on the trip to Liverpool with the History lesson. One friend going, other not.
First lesson-Maths. Exactly the same as yesterday. Nothing happened, it was just maths. But then again, something may have happened but I don't remeber, as I am writing this two days late!
Break-Had a row with my mate.
Second lesson-Welsh. We watched Schindler's List (or however you spell it). Quite an upsetting video, but not really made me depressed as some said it did to them.
Third lesson-Music. I quite enjoyed this lesson. We started to amke our own Pop Music on the computers. Only thing was that there was a wasp in the class, so my mate was constantly trying to find it. While I was trying to copy the teacher's drum beats, he said to us that if we were having problems with the drums, we could copy his. Annoying, I was already doing that1
Dinner time-We went to the History classroom several times, as there was room for another two people on the trip. I had gone with my mate, as she hadn't been picked earlier. Unfortunately, her name wasn't picked out. Then, one of the ones who was picked pulled out, so we went to see who was going, but it was someone else. I mentioned she was the only one from our group not going, and she said that if anyone else pulled out, she would let her go.
Fourth lesson-Science. Nothing happened in this lesson. Nothing ever happens in science!
Fifth lesson-R.E. We had to act our script out today. We did that, watched others perform, then start some work. That was it.
Home time-Karate practise again as grading is soon. Everything fine but me and the instructor found a major problem with my mate. She curls her wrists while blocking! Hilarious. Then, it waas Twitter all night!

Wednesday 17th March, 2010!
Today was school...again!
First lesson-Science. Nothing really happened in this lesson. I like sitting next to Jed...anyway. There's nothing to say. Nothing happened. Well, apart from one thing. A trip has been arranged by school for 35 kids to go to a museum in Liverpool. She said she would take the money in at break time, and it was the first 35 to pay that got the places. Some tried to cheat and take it in before assembly-she didn't accept. We all asked the teacher if we could go early, as we were REALLY far from her classroom. He phoned and said that because there were so many of us wanting to go, she would pick names out of a hat. So that realxed us. Then, our teacher started going on about choosing his subject next year. We had a slight argument with him then, because we're not allowed to take D+T and Electronics. He phoned the dep. head, who came to our class to talk about it...boring.
Second lesson-Maths. Nothing at all happened in this lesson. It was just maths!
Third lesson-Howel. He wasn't there, so we had a sub. We carried on with our pieces for our CD holder, and started a questionnaire. Our D+T teacher came in, and said that if only 20 kids are allowed to pick his subject, and he had to pick out of a hat as so many wanted to take his lesson, he would refuse to teach it. Hmm...
Dinner time-Nothing much. It was so dull that I can't even remeber what I did.
Fourth lesson-English. Not too bad. We hardly did any work. We wrote a poem out, and then talked about it.
Fifth lesson-Sports. The teacher wasn't there, and we were still meant to be doing sports. But, we got a free lesson of listening to Ipod's and doodeling.
After school-I have no homework to do, so I have a relaxed evening. I have finally made my choices for next year-Additional Science, D+T, History, French and nothing after school. I am now on Twitter, and talking with someone!

Boosh on Tour!
Dave Brown has posted some new pics on his website from the first Mighty Boosh tour. They are worth a look at, as they are an insight into what they got up to...

Noel Tweets His Last?
Sometimes, deciphering Noel Fielding’s Tweets is nigh on impossible. What has seemed to be incoherant ramblings, however, has turned out to be related to his new material – Fielding using the social networking site almost as a virtual post-it note to remind himself of an idea he can return to later...

School once again!
First lesson-Art. A lesson which I don't really mind. All we did was carry on with our drawings from outside the windows in the classroom. A lesson where all I do is talk to my best friend.
Second lesson-French. The lesson which I am best at. Not a bad lesson at all, with hardly any work being done. I can't really remember anything happening it was so normal.
Third lesson-Welsh. A lesson I would normally despise, but today wasn't too bad. We read a poem, wrote a kind of storyboard to it, then drew a cartoon to go with the storyboard. A simple and quite fun lesson of talking to my friends.
Dinner time-I was all alone at dinner time from 1 o'clock onwards. Two of my friends were in choir practise, and the other was helping a girl in reading class. I sat there doing nothing, only listening to my Ipod...until the battery died. The worst dinner time of the week, everytime.
Fourth lesson-History. The teacher wasn't there, so I got away with not finishing the poster lastnight. We were on the computers researching into trenches in World War 1, only to be talking all the way through.
Fifth lesson-Maths. The teacher wasn't there for this lesson either. Last week the teacher had given us a project to complete towards our Bac's. Nobody had understood him, so everybody was stuck. the teacher tried her best to help, but with her not being a maths teacher, she couldn't really do much. Hardly any work was actually done in the lesson, and now we all dread next week when we'll get no help at all.
After school was karate. Our grading is coming up in a weeks time, so it's all practise, practise... A very tiring lesson, as the heaters were on full blast. But, I enjoy it none the less, and the teacher says my Kata is excellent!
Homework has been finished-Maths and Science. Am on Twitter once again, and about to watch Nathan Barley on 4oD catchup. Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt are in it, so I can't help but like it.

Just The Tonic!
Noel Fielding’s two night residency at Just The Tonic continued Saturday night to great aplomb. Once again, friends of The Onion were on hand to catch him in the act...

Noel Fielding's gigs at Just The Tonic this weekend appear to be drowned out in a sea of controversy over his unusual choice of hair colouring!...

Monday 15th March, 2010!
Another day of school today!
First lesson-Textiles. I normally really hate this lesson, but I actually really enjoyed it today, as we were on the sewing machines, making shapes, and sewing a smiley face to a piece of cloth. We're making clothes for our school fashion show-with a 70's theme!
Second lesson-Geography. Another lesson I normally hate, but I didn't really mind it today. The teacher wasn't there, he is on a school trip to Switzerland. Not much work to be done anyway, and I nearly finished it all-which is a change!
Third lesson-English. A lesson which I always hate, because of the teacher. She shouts at anybody and everybody for nothing. Once again, she shouted at people for not doing homework, or if it was on a USB. She even kept people in! Luckily, I'd done the work! As for work in the lesson, we had to finish our appreciation of a poem. We had two lessons beforehand, and this was our third to finish it. I hadn't taken her seriously, and had done almost nothing. So today, I rushed through it, and luckily finished. She then said it was homework if we hadn't finished it, after saying we HAD to finish in the lesson! Great!
Dinner time-nothing much happened. I finished my Welsh homework, which I didn't have time for yesterday. Then, my friend started thinking of rude things that everybody was doing to eachother...or themselves! I have a really sick friend, don't ask!
Fourth lesson-Science. A bit boring. We were on the computers looking at how forces work on moving objects, even though we've done this before. Only good thing about science, is I get to sit next to the boy I fancy! Don't like the teacher, so that's the only high point!
Fifth lesson-Welsh. All we did was read from a book, and look at a video about Auschwitz-a German holocost camp during the war. A pretty free lesson.
After school-Homework was all I did-French and History. I haven't finished History, because she isn't there anyway tomorrow! Mostly been on Twitter, watching Gadget Show, and writing this post!
